EXHIBITION OPENING I Visions of Women by HARAZDY

"Even now I can see myself as a teenager sitting in my room with photos of famous actresses and models all over the wallpaper. I was surrounded by Elizabeth Taylor, Angelina Jolie, Cindy Crawford, Brigitte Bardot, Monica Bellucci, Laetitia Casta and I was fascinated by the diversity of femininity.

Humour, strength, whimsy, subtlety, eroticism... A few years later, as the daughter of a family of musicians, I was studying opera at the

I found myself at the Academy of Music and the period of rigorous practice and classroom lessons began to feel stifling. A click with a classmate and a love of photography began and has only grown stronger since.

Freedom, a slight absurdity, speed, feminine power, fragility, humour, a play of contrasts... all of these became my trademark.

My motto: " The situation is hopeless, but not serious." Life is finite, therefore hopeless. So let's not take it too seriously!

We are inundated day after day with depressing news on every surface, and now, I feel, we are in dire need of something to make us smile, to transport us to the light-hearted world of black and white Italian films, or just to find beauty in the noble simplicity of it.

I love the beautiful, the true, the authentic, the unconventional, the vulnerable.
