Lilla Belso is a Budapest-born photographer, who has lived and worked in Amsterdam. Her work is inspired by people, documentary vision and storytelling.
Her exhibition Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear is a large whole-photo montage of her work from recent years. The works on display were mostly made for private purposes, to document the artist's personal age imprint.
The images were taken in two cities, Amsterdam and Budapest, exploring a shared sense of youth and coming of age.
