Pepa, a second-rate actress, makes a living shooting commercials and dubbing instead of real challenges. One day her life is turned upside down when her lover, the ageing Ivan, announces he is leaving her. As usual, trouble doesn't come alone, Pepa's girlfriend soon arrives. Candela seeks refuge with him because her boyfriend turns out to be a terrorist. To top it all off, Ivan's ex-wife, the neurotic Lucia, turns up, as well as their son Carlos and his fiancée.
