John Smith, who arrives in the New World with a group of money-hungry English settlers, is very different from his fellow travellers. More interested in the strange, mysterious world he will live in than the gold. During one of his explorations, he catches a glimpse of Pocahontas, a beautiful Indian princess, and his life takes on a whole new meaning. She takes the stranger into her confidence, despite her tribe's prohibition, and with her fun-loving friends, the raccoon and the hummingbird, she unlocks the secrets of the wilderness.
