Nyitott Stúdió - Márta Ladjánszki

2024-09-09T17:00:00.000Z

Once a month, on Mondays, Trafó opens its Liliom Street dance studio to all those who love to move. Each time, a different choreographer or dancer shares some of his or her favourite exercises. The goal is not necessarily to learn a choreography, but to move together, to recharge, to learn from each other, together.

Márta Ladjánszki studied classical ballet, sertorna, jazz and modern dance in Hungary and Vienna, and at the end of 1996 she was the founder of KOMPmÁNIA Contemporary Dance Theatre, where she worked as a dancer and co-choreographer.

In 2001, she joined the L1 Independent Artists Association, where she still works as artistic vice-president.

In 2024 he will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his career and his 50th birthday. A formative, experimental artist who is often the first to pioneer ideas into the collective, his themes and methods invite the viewer on an inner journey ahead of their time. For him, creation is a process of discovery, mutual inspiration and exchange of ideas in the language of the body.

Martha from the Open Studio workshop in September:

A contemporary dance class for those interested in the performing arts.

In the current session of the Open Studio, you can explore the possibilities of your own body (and even go beyond) through various contemporary dance techniques and improvisation exercises.

Bring comfortable clothes that you can wear to the workshop.

The workshop is free of charge, but places are limited, so please send an email to [email protected]
