Schedule
Children screaming and endless speeches at the opening ceremony. The characteristic smell of delicious stew and boozy mop water in the canteen. Ten-year-old Palkó (Paul Mátis), who has moved home from Berlin, is amazed at the everyday life of an ordinary Hungarian school. Only Aunt Juci (Anna Mészöly), a teacher in her early years, really understands him, and she is also a victim of the institutional system stuck in a janitorial culture. The Black Spot, which in places tends towards the grotesque and continues the Orkney tradition, was made as an independent production in collaboration with a number of Hungarian producers.
