Budapest's most important contemporary art fair, the Budapest Contemporary Art Fair (BCT), is back, expanding to an international event in 2024 and hosting 12 highly acclaimed European galleries. From 26 to 29 September, galleries from home and abroad, as well as the most sought-after artists, will be showcased at the Bálna. In addition to the exhibition and fair, there will be a two-day art conference, educational programmes for adults and children and guided tours.

Budapest Contemporary is the place where visitors can get a taste of where contemporary art in Hungary and Europe is now and where it is going. Galleries, artists, collectors and the general public meet, exchange information and find inspiration. The programme will be further enriched this year with a conference on the relationship between art and business and exclusive guided tours.
The four-day fair will be complemented by an online charity auction with items donated by the exhibiting galleries. The auction will be open for bidding on Axioart, with all proceeds going to the Autistic Art Foundation, which supports people with autism.
