VISIT THE BEAR SANCTUARY IN VERESEGYHÁZA ON WEEKENDS WITH FREE LECTURES AND DEMONSTRATIONS
The permanent programme of the Veresegyházi Bear Home, free lectures and presentations about large carnivores are also available on weekends and holidays. Animal walks, predator programme, bear viewing, bear lure - a colourful range of animal-friendly activities all year round, for individual visitors and groups! The regular season of free educational programmes at the Bear Sanctuary in Veresegyháza starts at the end of March with the Bear Awakening programme and runs until the end of autumn. Bird of Prey presentations are also available on a regular basis, but dates are highly weather and bird dependent.

We organise regular free educational programmes on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, which you should plan your visit around
Outside of March-November, our Predator program is the only one running, on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m.
At the end of March, our Bear Awakening program kicks off the season of our regular free educational programs and runs through the end of fall. The exception is our Bird of Prey presentation, which is highly weather and bird dependent. This programme will be announced separately.
