VPI Concrete is engaged in the design and manufacture of public concrete furniture. They work exclusively with proprietary, high-strength fine concrete mixes that allow for the creation of slender and complex shapes and unusually fine surfaces. Their concrete demonstration event is a real treat, where you can get up close and personal with VPI's concretes and experience what it feels like to create unique objects from high-strength fine concrete.
At the Hengermalom, you can also enjoy a photo transfer workshop with OLGA HOLY, where you can cast small objects and even create your own laser-printed images on a concrete surface. During the workshop we will mix concrete together and learn how to transfer images onto it. We will use different sizes of moulds. Don't forget to bring laser-printed photos on 80-90 g printing paper so you can experiment freely and create exciting, unique creations!
Hengermalom
Hengermalom was once the bread of the town. Today it is a mysterious structure that tells the story of Kelenföld, the city and the river. A new story begins among the huge concrete blocks: the empty cylinders are soon filled with our shared ideas.
