The ensemble combines Hungarian folk rhythms and melodies with the harmonic and rhythmic world of jazz to create original, "hybrid" improvisational music, and they compose their programme entirely by themselves. Their unique collaboration bridges the gap between American avant-garde jazz and Eastern European folk music. The building blocks of jazz and improvisational musical language are held even closer together by the musicians' mutual respect and friendship for each other. Since 2007, the band has toured Europe and the United States on numerous occasions and has released four CDs.
