We are planning a series of three panel discussions to accompany our exhibition "Beautiful World". The exhibition, based around reform-era fashion magazines, will also reveal the many facets of fashion as a phenomenon. Consequently, the talks will explore how the dressing culture of the past and present relates to issues of publicity, the communicative potential of fashion and dressing en bloc, and the specific situation of fashion exhibitions.
