"Nonstop dínom-dánom" - In addition to his rank, this is the creed bequeathed to René, the young Parisian painter by his uncle's aunt's father-in-law, the mysterious Count of Luxembourg. Whether the boy will succeed in heeding his father's advice is answered by an operetta that is renewed inside and out - Sir Basil is the governor of the McDonald Islands, if anything, even more witty than the original.
