Jongsoo, who works as a courier, accidentally bumps into his childhood neighbour, the charming Hemi. She asks Jong-su to look after her cat while she is away. He returns from his trip not alone, but with his new friend, the wealthy and mysterious Ben, who reveals his unusual hobby to Jong-ju during a magical sunset...
Lee Chang-dong's drama deals with the hopelessness of Generation Y in Korea, presented through the story of a strange love triangle. The film made its debut at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, where it was awarded the Fipresci Prize by the film critics and received the best critical reception ever in the festival's 70-year history.
North Korean propaganda across the border, the doomed hothouses of rural Korea, Miles Davis's trumpet playing or the new wave cafés of bustling Seoul are all tools to mask the mystery lurking in the background. Once again, the legendary South Korean director and former writer has created an unforgettable masterpiece.

Bem Cinema
In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
