The pregnant Irma retreats to their holiday home in the middle of the forest. She is overcome by strange thoughts: she thinks she will die the next day. The date coincides with the date of her mother's death - she died on her 34th birthday. Irma doesn't want to be alone on the upcoming anniversary, so she invites her half-sister and her best friend to stay with her. But more and more unexplained events follow, and it no longer seems so feverish that something is going to happen to Irma.
