Schedule
💡 The roundtable that inspired the "It's up to you" series of talks was the result of a workshop. The aim of the "It's Your Business" series is to discuss over-talked or overheard topics with experts and sometimes stakeholders in a common and accessible way. We address issues that affect us all in some way, yet there is little tangible information about them. During the discussions, we try to identify and challenge prejudices and misconceptions about the issues we choose to address.
🗣️ We are now looking at the impact of artificial intelligence on our daily lives and our future. What can it be used for and how should it be used? How does AI affect the labour market and human relations?
🪬 The rapid development of AI has the potential to shape the world around us in a growing number of areas, in our daily lives, in science, in the labour market and even in the arts.
📈 ChatGPT is increasingly being used to write essays, and one half of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to the creators of an artificial intelligence model for predicting protein structure. How many articles can we read on the question of whether artificial intelligence will make our jobs disappear? What psychological effects are we suffering either because of them or because of our fear of the unknown? Will AI bring new possibilities in the arts, or will it take away the essence of art? There is also relatively little accessible and understandable information on this topic in English, and many misconceptions are associated with it. Our aim is to understand how this technology is shaping the future and how it affects us, regardless of whether we are users or not. We want to look at this topic from several angles in the discussion, so we are inviting experts from different fields. 🎙️ The event is open to the public and all are welcome. There will be a question and answer session after the moderated discussion. The moderated part of the discussion will be audio and video recorded. The event will be accompanied by a pop-up exhibition selected from Can Togay's Shop of Rescuing Thoughts (and Space of Good Thoughts). A collaboration with the House of Arts in Veszprém. The exhibition is open until 20 December by appointment
