Hungarikum Cavalcade
Hungarikum Kavalkád on the main stage of Hungarian culture!
We are delighted to announce that on 20 April 2025, the most noble values of Hungarian culture will come together in the most special concert of the year, opening a new dimension in the world of Hungarian musical traditions. The Hungarikum Kavalkád is the brainchild of Márton Maneszes, who was inspired by the captivating HÁRMAS SZABÁLY. It brings together the genres of Hungarian song, operetta and, not least, gypsy music, while three outstanding singers and the world-famous 100-piece Gypsy Orchestra ensure that Hungarian musical heritage is presented in a modern guise, while preserving traditional values. It brings together three iconic pillars of Hungarian culture in a unique way to reinterpret and pass them on to future generations.

Schedule
The concert will feature:
Márton Maneszes, a singer of Cluj-Napoca origin, who is a dedicated representative of Hungarian cultural values.
"Never before have all three Hungaricums been on the same stage at the same time. We are creating a unique event, which started in Cluj-Napoca, developed in Hungary and will soon conquer the world."
Mónika Fischl, Liszt Ferenc Prize-winning Hungarian actress, singer, prima donna, celebrated artist of the Budapest Operetta Theatre, will bring a new colour to the world of operetta.
Csaba Sándor, a guest artist of the Hungarian State Opera in Cluj and the Budapest Opera House, whose sophisticated style and heartfelt performances are guaranteed to enchant audiences.
The musical accompaniment is provided by the legendary 100-piece Gypsy Orchestra, an authentic representative of Hungarian musical tradition. Their virtuoso playing, dynamic performances and captivating melodies have made the group iconic figures of Hungarian culture. They are the world's largest gypsy orchestra. They won the Hungarian Heritage Award in 2000 and were entered in the Guinness Book of World Records the same year. Since their inception, the band has released 27 CDs and 5 DVDs, 5 of which have gone platinum and 9 gold.
The Hungarikum Kavalkád is more than a concert. It's a cultural mission to revive and promote Hungarian musical heritage, showcasing the richness and timeless beauty of Hungarian culture!
MVM Dome
MVM Dome is the seventh largest indoor event venue in Europe. Its capacity for sports events and concerts is significantly higher than that of the Budapest Sports Arena. It has 20,022 seats; a total of 50,000 square metres of floor space; innovative, rearrangeable spaces for many indoor sports (handball, basketball and volleyball, futsal, ice hockey, tennis, skating) as well as certain athletic, equestrian and motorcycle competitions, and even swimming competitions and water polo matches in the mobile pool. Through the six entrances to the building, spectators can enter the arena’s interior using eight escalators, leading to the walk-through grandstands accessible on three levels. The structure of the building’s exterior is reminiscent of muscle fibres: the light strips placed on the outward-leaning, elliptical sections not only embrace the building, but the light shows, programmed using various colours, appear to set the entire building in motion. There is a 600 square metre display on the façade of the building. The Main Entrance leads to an impressive foyer, where visitors will be greeted by a grandiose hanging light installation of 848 handmade glass tubes. The programmable sports lighting is also suitable for HDTV broadcasts of the highest-level world competitions, as well as for super-slow-motion recordings due to flicker free technology. The lighting system also plays an important role in the events and concerts, as it is suitable for changing the colour temperature of the auditorium, which means that the lighting functions can be changed without rearranging the arena, only through the pre-programmed lighting controls. This design is the first and is unique in Europe for luminaires of this power. A central display (cube) provides information in the auditorium during the events.
