From a shoebox to a camera? - take a photo with camera obscura!

Have you ever heard of camera obscura?
The answer is either yes or no: this is your chance to try a technique from photographic history!
Bring along a shoebox you no longer use, which will be transformed during the workshop to make it suitable for taking photos. We'll use the power of natural light to create the photograph, which will be displayed on light-sensitive paper using analogue development. The resulting photograph will highlight the possibilities and wonders of analogue photography and viewfinder-less photography.

The programme will be led by István M. Dabi, Intermedia Artist.
Dabi István M.
He graduated in 2005 from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, majoring in Intermedia, and for ten years he was a teacher of filmmaking and cinematography at the Bródy Imre High School in Budapest. He was the founder and until 2014 the main organizer of the BIG Youth and Student Film Festival. He has participated in solo and group photography exhibitions and is currently making experimental films and documentaries.
Ludwig Museum
The Ludwig Museum - Museum of Contemporary Art, located in Müpa, is the first museum in Hungary to exclusively collect contemporary art. In addition to a permanent exhibition of the collection donated by the Ludwigs and a number of temporary exhibitions, the museum aims to raise awareness of the works and their creators through special publications and a variety of art education and art education programmes.
