The protagonist of the film is a young boy named Piel, who is left alone in a fatal accident on the mysterious and terrifying planet Perdide.
The critics of the time complained that "the viewer is watching a bad film, well made". The problem is that "the film's characters are essentially in the good old Walt Disney school, with some pop-art comic-book touches. Except you can't draw fantastic characters that way!" thunders the review. Well, you could! A bit Walt Disney-ish, but everyone drew in their own way. Long animation is a genre loved and used by many.
