2025-05-09T16:00:00.000Z

On 9 May, after a gap of more than a decade, the Raging Deadmen will return to Budapest Park to celebrate their 50th (!!) anniversary and their new album, Fell Into Nothingness, which will be released earlier this year, with a special session. If all this wasn't enough, the evening will be opened by Platon Karataev, who will be presenting their new album Sunburner, due out in April, at this special event.

Schedule

The relationship between the two bands is close, almost generational. One of the founding frontmen of Platon Karataev, Sebestyén Czakó-Kuraly, is the son of one of the founding members of VHK, Sándor Czakó, who, although no longer a member of the band, was a key figure in the early years of VHK. This musical legacy is also deeply reflected in the work of Platon Karataev, who have paid tribute to the cult band with a double cover (Hello, All and Unsigned History).

Location

Budapest Park

Budapest Park, the biggest and coolest open air concert venue of the city hosts the cream of the crop in foreign and domestic mainstream music every year. At first glance, it might seem like the Park is very much out of town, but this is far from the truth - and since the soundsystem was completely renovated last season, we can only recommend the venue even more.
