12 August 1945, 11 am. With their mysterious cargo, two strangers in black clothes and black hats appear at the railway station of a Hungarian village. In the shadow of the Russian occupation, the people of the village are preparing for the wedding of the notary's son, but the bride's former fiancé is also returning from prisoner of war.
