Why are lacto-fermented pickles beneficial?

The fermented treats you make, contain both valuable fibre ( prebiotic) and beneficial bacteria ( probiotic) that can maintain the health and diversity of the gut flora in your colon, so that YOU can feel better in your skin.

How is the 2.5 hour course structured?

At the beginning of the workshop, I will give you a theoretical education of about 30 minutes on the role of the human microbiome, gut microbiome in the human body, followed by 2 x 60 minutes of practice making different flavoured pickles.

What is included in the participation fee?

The price of the program includes all ingredients and tools and you can take home 3 jars of ready-to-eat products (worth about 12.000 ft) to test the ripening process at home and then seasonally incorporate pickle making into your daily life.

You will have online access to the learning materials you need to practice your skills at www.nutrifun.hu.

If you book in pairs, you'll come home with 6 bottles of pickles and together you'll receive a copy of Ági Király's Fermentarium to make new flavours and versions for later.

No previous kitchen experience is necessary for this course, it is especially designed for beginners.
