Applause for the poet // Aplauze pentru poet
The unique project "A Shout-Out to the Poet...", which has already sold out several performances in Romania, is now in a new format, alternating between a descriptive performance and a poetry recitation. On the Hungarian Poetry Day in Budapest and Szeged, we will also commemorate the World Poetry Day on 21 March, celebrating together poetry, lyricism and its universality.

𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚́𝐬 theatre artist broadcasts live the poems, which are considered to be the most important images of the Romanian performing arts - 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙗𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙪𝙘, 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙖 𝙈𝙞𝙝𝙪𝙩̦, 𝙈𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝙍𝙖̆𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙪, 𝙄𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙧𝙪 - will be complemented by online video interventions, with speeches by Ovidiu Miculescu and Oltea Şerban-Pârâu, the initiator and artistic advisor of the project "A Response to the Poet", on the importance of poetry and the need to maintain this now marginalised form of performance in the fast-paced century we live in.
