Harmony: an insight into the art of Alessandro Baricco // KOLTAI / GURUBI / JANKOVICS
On 14 April, from 18:00 in the Three Ravens theatre, we invite you to a deeper exploration of Alessandro Baricco's work, in preparation for the author's visit to Budapest in September.

Schedule
The guest of honour at the 2023 PesText Festival will be Alessandro Baricco, one of Italy's most versatile contemporary writers and public intellectuals. Best known for his bestselling novels Novecento, Ocean and Silk, Baricco has also enjoyed a prolific career as a cultural television presenter, playwright and essayist. His most recent non-fiction book in Hungarian, Barbarians, explored the relationship between writing and the digital cultural revolution. In his latest book, The Game, to be published in autumn 2023 (Helikon Publishers), Baricco returns to this theme, extending his perspective to the impact of the digital revolution on humanist thought and culture in general.
Krisztián Puskár, editor, journalist and cultural activist, will be interviewed by Ágnes Gurubi, writer, editor and journalist, Márton Jankovics, cultural journalist and Lajos Koltai, director, including the cinematographer of The Legend of the Ocean-going Pianist, on the world-famous writer's wide-ranging work.
Baricco's books will be available for purchase on site, courtesy of Helikon Publishers. In the meantime, they can be ordered online here:
