This time, Ivett Gyöngyösi takes us on a journey into the unique musical world of Claude Debussy. Debussy travelled a lot around the world, which was not only a physical but also a spiritual experience for him and had a profound influence on his art. The evening's programme - the first volume of Debussy's Preludes for solo piano - is a kind of musical travel guide, offering twelve different 'stops' in the composer's varied and diverse musical landscapes: each piece reveals a particular mood or story, as if they were an imprint of his travels.
