Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) meet again nine years later in Paris at his book launch. Their book together, about the most magical night they've ever spent together. Fate is not kind to them this time either, with only hours to spare before Jesse flies back to New York. They spend this time walking and talking, discovering if they still have feelings for each other despite the changes in their lives.
