Schedule
After the film, the Institute will be joined by Anita Bezzeg, independent journalist Szabolcs Dull, bibliotherapist Annamari Huszár, actress Mari Kőszegi and Norbert Sas.
This was our motto at the beginning:
"We're starting a pretty cool film club", where we can be together, choosing from the Mozinet selection, without anyone having to be an expert. Just let yourself be influenced...then sit down and share your impressions, thoughts and feelings...listen to others....inspire, recharge. Will we have anything to do with these works? Will they be lovable or repulsive? Or will they leave us clueless and dull?" Alexa Novák
The post-screening discussion will be joined by Feldmár Institute staff and invited guests. None of us are experts, film gurus or film critics. We have come together as interlocutors around a film based on our personal connection, our involvement and our fascination with the subject.
If you're drawn to a film after reading a brief synopsis, if you're touched by the subject, or if you like to talk, or maybe neither of those things at the moment, but are curious to see what comes out of it, we'd love to hear from you. You don't have to be a film aesthete, if you can talk to us about yourself, about your experiences, that will be enough. We will do exactly the same.

Cannes International Film Festival 2024:
Grand Prix
All That Seems Light tells with lyrical tenderness the fate of women in the ever-bustling and colourful India. In her thirties, Prabha works as a nurse in Mumbai. Although she hasn't spoken to her husband, who is working in Germany, for years, doubts keep her tied up and prevent her from moving on. Her roommate, Anu, is younger than she is, and though she tries in vain to enjoy freedom with her lover, their differences in faith make it difficult for their relationship to fulfil. Leaving the big city and the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind, they travel to an island with their third wife, the widow Parvaty, to face their greatest fears: grief, letting go and acceptance.
Director Payal Kapadia's magnificent All That Seems Light is the first Indian film in thirty years to debut in the competition programme of the Cannes International Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix.

In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
