A year ago we released our second album, which set the tone for last year.

At the beginning of last year, the new era was presented at the Aquarium and, to give things a frame-frame romance, we decided to close the previous year by giving way to something new inside us, also at the Aquarium, but now in its Small Hall.

Schedule

Heavy Brains' first milestone was the 10-song 'Strapped Wings', a full-length album released in 2021. The band won the Joy of Music Grand Prize in 2022, and in 2023 they became NKA Starting Artists grantees.

In January 2024, the guys released their second album 'Learned Methods', which had a sold-out premiere at the Akvárium Club. They then toured the country and played their final concert in Budapest Park. They are currently working on a new album. The band's style is mainly defined by the alternative - synth/pop-rock line.

Guest band:

Location

Akvárium

As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
