What characterises this undeservedly forgotten technique?
Linocutting is a high-pressure reproduction process. The process involves using artist's linoleum on which the mirror image of the chosen image is first drawn, and then, after a little practice, the image is engraved onto the linoleum using chisels. As a finishing touch we will make prints from the plates we have carved, even on textiles.
At the end of the program you can take home your print and your own carved lino duvet. If you don't have your own design, you can choose from several ready-made designs.
