Budapest Ritmo Film days
Two days in which we will try to show you everything that can fit into the intersection of film and music.
Stories behind the music, Mali blues, Japanese folk songs, bossa nova: the festival's genre diversity will be a feature of the first Budapest Ritmo Film Days.

Schedule
On Friday, the latest Ritmo film, 'Nefelejcs', directed by Béla Balázs Award-winner Áron Mátyássy, will debut, and the Ritmo films made so far (MORDÁI: Last Hour, Dresch Vonós Quartet, Uljana Quartet, Károly Cserepes) will also be screened.
Music documentaries will feature iconic artists such as Santana, Fatoumata Diawara, Joan Baez and even Gogol Bordello, and will explore rare musical languages such as Japanese folk song, griot tradition, Turkish hip hop and the roots of bossa nova.
And on Saturday, two selection blocks: video clips from MOME Open and music-themed short films from the Fresh Meat International Short Film Festival will provide new perspectives on the meeting of the two genres. The films will be introduced by Lili Mesterházy film critic.
