The exhibition will place particular emphasis on current trends and works that showcase Taiwan's scientific and technological development, as well as the historical and socio-political context that has shaped Taiwan's unique identity and its dynamic, open society today. Through the works of 20 invited artists, the exhibition explores current themes such as indigenous heritage, nature, traditions, environmental protection, the cultural impact of colonialism, the turbulent history and traumas of the 19th and 20th centuries, modern democracy and the emergence of Taiwanese identity, the values and culture of modern society, and Taiwan in the future: modernisation, economic development, new technologies.

The Ludwig Museum - Museum of Contemporary Art, located in Müpa, is the first museum in Hungary to exclusively collect contemporary art. In addition to a permanent exhibition of the collection donated by the Ludwigs and a number of temporary exhibitions, the museum aims to raise awareness of the works and their creators through special publications and a variety of art education and art education programmes.
