Easter Gödöllő 2025 - Easter in the Castle

Violet Day will take place on 20 April 2025 and Easter at the Castle on 21 April 2025. The Easter Gödöllő 2025 programme will include folk dance performances, exhibitions, children's concerts and other colourful Easter events.

Participation fee:

To participate in the programme, you need to buy a walking ticket for the age of 6 and over, which costs 1000 HUF (the value of which can be bought at the Castle). On Violet Day on 9 April, a 50% discount is offered for visitors named Violet on the museum's visit.

11.30 The Little Bird and the Little Pig - interactive Hungarian folk tale performed by the Hungarian Folk Tale Theatre

12.30 From the depths of the forests to the royal tables - gastronomic demonstration by Mónika Halmos, flower sommelier

12.00-14.00 Queen Elizabeth will hold a cercle in the Cercle Hall of the Castle (museum ticket required)

13.00 Egg hunt in the hayloft in the park

13.30 Casual Chicks - performance by the Stilt Company

14.00 Sniffing out royal food - family guided tour of the royal suites (visit with separate ticket)

15.00 From the depths of the forests to the royal tables - gastronomic demonstration by Mónika Halmos, the flower sommelier

15.00 Lázár Ervin: The Round Forest with a Square Roof - a fairy tale play performed by the Scene Workshop (to be visited with a special ticket)

15.30 Klimászné Zsófia Varga and László Varga flute-piano duo in the Díszterem
