Hűvös, girlhood
"Music happy, lyrics dope" is perhaps the best way to describe the songs of indie/pop-rock band Girlhood, who debuted this spring.
The all-girl line-up mainly sing about heartbreak, casual relationships and the difficulties of growing up, life and mental health, sometimes with playful synths and sometimes with punky guitars.

Hűvös was formed in Szeged in the summer of 2020. In 2021 they were selected as one of the 16 best performers in the Kikeltető and were also selected as a finalist for the NKA Starting Performers Grant.
In April 2023 they released their first album, MIT KERESEK ITT??. The 11-song LP includes anti-pop hits such as "I love myself already" and "Let's do it.
And with their second album, IMÁGÓ, released on 15 November 2024, they opened up a new vein towards a more distorted and darker musical world. The cool band ANTIPOP, representing the sound of the mystical south, have brought back with their second album the unprocessed covers of their twenties.
Their music video for their song HÁTSÓÜLÉS was included in the 08th Hungarian Klipszemle. Petőfi Radio is a favourite of Petőfi Radio for their songs Let's Be, You Know What You're Like, RENDEZŐI VÁLTOZAT and HÁTSÓÜLÉS.
In 2024, they have performed on the stages of Fishing On Orfű, the Valley of Arts Festival, SZIN and Campus Festival, among others, and they have also played for the audiences of the Bánkitó Festival, the Ördögkatlan Festival and the Kolorádó Festival.
The band is currently working on their 2025 hits.
