Falka

Falka is a long-established musical community, which actually decided to form an orchestra two years ago. Depth and height, sadness and joy, singing and dancing, bondage and freedom, community-building energies: this is Falka, an open orchestra in which the members may occasionally change, but the music they play is only more exciting and varied. Their programme is made up of compositions by members or other composers that are easy to take in, and even pieces that are inspired by the moment, born on the spot, and include free elements, written parts and easy-to-learn melodies. The aim: to break down the wall between the orchestra and the audience, so that during the performances we merge into a community of singing and moving around the fire, participating in the ritual.
