Budapest100 - COMMUNITY/GREEN
On 24-25 May, for the 15th time, the Budapest100 architecture and culture festival, the Open House Weekend, organised by KÉK - Contemporary Architecture Centre, will be open to visitors.
This year's theme is urban green spaces, one of the most important scenes of which is our most intimate environment, the courtyards, gardens and green corridors of our houses. So, during the May weekend, the stories of houses and their communities and urban nature will be brought together in the city's hidden green oases.
The Open House Weekend will bring together nearly 70 venues to discover the diversity of urban green spaces and communities. As this year's theme is not focused on a specific period or location, the festival will feature buildings from a wide range of ages, showcasing the diversity of urban green spaces. In addition, Budapest100 will continue to be a celebration of residents and communities, showcasing exciting examples of how they can work together to green their neighbourhoods.
