Siketfajd, Stone Sober, Bufo Alvarius

A musical collective of emerging bands, whose aim is to identify Hungarian guitar-centric music with something other than the usual patterns. To not see it as a macho institution of a bygone era, but something that is alive and well now, can be interesting, modern, alternative. The first milestone of the movement was last August's Varázs Garage mini-festival in a hangar on Népsziget - a perfect summary of what the future holds. The motto is DIY, but with professionalism. If we have to, we'll do it ourselves.
