CICIKRISZTUS
Flipchart
The performance is part of the 2025 Eyes Plus competition programme at the Crystal Theatre.
The hero of our comedy hasn't a clue about art. But as a former bouncer, Dave is nonetheless employed by a contemporary gallery to guard a controversial work of art. The painting is 3 metres high and 1.60 metres wide, and ... well, how shall I put it ... it's done in a rather strange technique. Some people don't like it and it can be interpreted in many different ways. But Dave's opinion of art - and of this particular painting - is slowly changing and he is defending it with increasing vehemence with his wife, the
the media and a bunch of outraged religious fanatics. In a story full of situational and character comedy, full of twists and turns, the brass knuckles finally kick in and Dave has to deal with problems from unexpected directions.
