Escape to the Kerekerdő Park
In the palpable uncertainty of our times - when the handholds are less and less clear - the Kerekerdő Park becomes an island of presence.
In May, the park will not be a place of rest, but an oasis of action: a space that invites you not to hide, but to be present. Here, public space is not just a passage, but an opportunity: to take up our presence, to take responsibility for what we do - or what we observe. Sometimes in the background, sometimes actively, sensitively, connected to the reality around us.
Schedule
For two weeks, the Wheel Forest Park will become a field of audio-based instructions. As an invisible medium, sound opens up new connections to urban space - whether playful, poetic or confusingly precise. Through small gestures, the instructions guide our bodies, our eyes, our imagination - turning the park into another dimension of space and time.
At the site-specific creative workshop of Luca Borsos and Dávid Somló, participants developed headphone-based participatory pieces in collaboration with Freeszfe, which are now being realized in the framework of Ferencváros Public Art in Kerekerdő Park.
