Nazareth
Nazareth will be back in Budapest in the autumn. The Bending the Rules tour will feature one of their biggest hits, Love Hurts, which was first performed by the Scottish rock band 50 years ago in 1975. On 27 November they will perform at the Dürer Kert. Nazareth are part of the first generation of hard rock and heavy metal bands, along with Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep and Deep Purple. Formed in 1968, founding member Pete Agnew is still active in the band, which now includes his son Lee Agnew on drums, alongside guitarist Jimmy Murrison and vocalist Carl Sentance. With over 30 million records sold, Nazareth is Scotland's most successful rock band (alongside Simple Minds).

Schedule
Love Hurts was performed as a power ballad 50 years ago and became the most popular cover of the song originally written by Boudleaux and Felice Bryant, and the only version to become a hit in the US. The record reached number one in Canada, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa and Norway, spending 61 weeks at number one in the latter country, including 14 weeks at number one, making it the most successful single of all time there. On Spotify alone, it has been played 247 million times, a figure that is still rising by a million every week. So that's the reason for the autumn tour, but of course there will be other classics such as Dream On, This Flight Tonight and Hair Of The Dog.
Dürer Garden
Recently moved from its original location, the Dürer is a staple of Budapest's metal scene. But don't be scared, it's worth a visit even if you just want to have a couple of drinks by the Danube. From spring, of course.
