The Anahit
The Anahit is a genre-defying duo (singer/songwriter/producer Rita Csanyi & drummer Daniel Kocsis) that seamlessly fuses dark pop, R&B, and Balkan folk vocal elements to craft a sound that is both distinctive and captivating. Their music delves into raw emotions, giving voice to feelings often left unspoken, creating a profound connection with their audience.

Schedule
The name ‘The Anahit’ draws inspiration from Armenian mythology; Anahit, the goddess of wisdom, healing, and water, reflects Rita’s Armenian heritage and serves as a fitting symbol for the band’s lyrical themes. With a strong feminist perspective, Rita’s powerful lyrics and vocal performances have been a hallmark since the project’s inception, guiding listeners through the depths of dark pop, enriched with dramatic elements and R&B rhythms.
The band is the opening act for Hallot Pénz.
Budapest Park
Budapest Park, the biggest and coolest open air concert venue of the city hosts the cream of the crop in foreign and domestic mainstream music every year. At first glance, it might seem like the Park is very much out of town, but this is far from the truth - and since the soundsystem was completely renovated last season, we can only recommend the venue even more.
