The next guest on Ruff On The Beat is a true standout on the Hungarian DNB scene: Zedy is coming through to bring you the unmistakable sound of Raggaroller.
Zedy started out in 2017 playing a few parties in Szolnok, dropping Bomboclat sets, but he truly found his place in the capital at Roots Budapest, where he was able to fully explore his love for both Reggae and Drum and Bass.
In 2018, early in his journey, he was spinning dancehall and reggae at Reggae Camp festivals - from there, it was a natural step toward the broken beat world.
He’s played stages like DnB Castle and the Roots Festival too. It’s no exaggeration to say he’s one of the only, if not the very last, active representatives of this substyle in the local scene.
He’s been a core member of the Niteflexx crew since their formation, so many will already know him - and if anyone knows how to blend jungle and ragga vibes with DNB, it’s him.
Lately, he’s been drawn toward a new direction: more dancefloor-oriented grooves, which he mixes seamlessly with his tried and tested selection, always moving the subs and the crowd.
One thing’s for sure - this is Zedy’s second time on Rádió X, and we’re diving deeper into both the artist and the sound.
