TERRA KONTRA IV.
🏵️ Every spring, a new shoot sprouts on the mayfly tree in Felsőtárkány, so that by midsummer, the fruit of our year-long efforts may ripen. This fruit is what nourishes the enthusiasm of our team through the cooling autumn and barren winter, and we strive to nurture and grow it with all our care. This fruit is none other than the (fourth) Terra Kontra Festival.

⛰️ Once again, the festival will sprout from the nourishing soil we now call home. Blues Hill Park is a hidden yet spacious clearing, surrounded by gently rippling green hills that glow golden-brown in the sunlight, with the Bükk mountains standing guard in the distance. Those who spot the old wooden archway reminiscent of the Wild West will know they've arrived — into a world that is freer, friendlier, and altogether different.
🎑 Our story is reflected in the musical and artistic lineup: for three nights and three days, you can wander from stage to stage, from ambient to breakbeat, from yoga to board games, from neighbors to strangers. A more detailed program will be released soon — stay tuned! In the meantime, the veil will gradually be lifted on the collaborators who will help shape the festival again this year — through music, culture, visuals, and gastronomy. Their contributions complete what we have been shaping all year, and what you will soon get to experience again.
🌙 True to its name, Terra Kontra once again offers a path into the counter-soil, where — through dance and invisible rhythms — you can create an alternative space, physically present yet distant from civilization, far from the gray routines of city life and the burdens of societal order. This is a rare alignment of place and time, where community experience and personal liberation can coexist. Please, live it in symbiosis with your environment — that’s the only way it’s truly worthwhile. Thank you!
