Miticej, Okos Viola
The band Miticej heats up the cellar cheese at the Three Ravens! Before that, Viola Okos will perform her outstanding solo production!

Schedule
Okos Viola entered the Hungarian music scene as the lead singer of the Ethnofil (Odd ID) band at the age of ten, and has since then been involved in popular music, fusion and folk music projects, in connection with her family ties and her musical upbringing. With the band, they have combined ethno, progressive and electronic elements in a unique sound and now describe themselves as “post-pop”. Currently he is a permanent member of the quartet formation of the Makám band and the Fuvalom ensemble, and singer and instrumentalist.
His music combines alternative and folk music genres, and his folk EP Amerre én járok was released in early 2024. The latter, beyond the folk influences, is interwoven with a brooding, playful, atmospheric world. He plays all the instruments on the album (including the Moldavian-origin cobos) and recorded the music himself.
Miticej combines Eastern European pastoral music with acerbic humour and cheeky lyrics, while creating a unique, energetic soundscape. Their music combines folk music traditions with playful, sometimes grotesque storytelling. The rich instrumentation and dynamic melodies shape their unique sound, which fills the room with a vibrant energy.
The orchestra released its second album, ‘Kertvégi János’, at the end of 2024, recorded and post-produced on analogue instruments with the help of sound engineers Dávid Sólyom and Nándor Illés.
