"We, dreamers of the countryside and dreamers in the countryside, Be-Gyüttment and Already-Gyüttment, together we will formulate and plan this new Life. A life where mud is not dodged but made into a home. In which we don't write the weed, but cook it into soup. In which, when asked how much capital we have, we say a dozen linden leaves and a few maidens. An environmentally conscious, ecological new life.
Schedule
We, the representatives, pioneers and bush fighters of eco-conscious existence, gather once a year for four days, as lecturers or students, but also as participants, helping, teaching and encouraging each other, to bond, to gain strength, to gather as a community in a common space. We will peel away the laws, the aspirations, the aspirations, the expectations, the fears, the worthless order of consumer society and we will embroider the outlines of a freer, slower, more valuable life. Our annual meeting of Gyüttment is for those of us who have already realised that asphalt is not something to put down roots in, and that bathing in long-lasting milk and branded butter does not make us happy.
We, those who are starting out in the countryside, those who choose an environmentally conscious rural life, values and landscape, meet to share and exchange knowledge and experiences, all in a festival atmosphere. The numerous presentations and programmes related to making a new start in the countryside will present associations, foundations and communities, but also individual journeys, choices and their results. All the experiential knowledge you need to go beyond your comfort zone is available in one place, in four days."
This year we celebrate our 10th birthday! 🙂 In our thematic programme you can choose from more than a hundred programmes that approach the theme from different angles: how to live more in harmony with nature, simply and happily, surrounded by people of values with whom a true, deep, close, personal connection is possible.
