Imago evening: psychoanalysis and animals

The relationship between animals and psychoanalysis is quite diverse - it can be explored in terms of analysts' pets, patients' psychological symptoms, analytic theories, therapeutic methods or ecological phenomena and reactions to the animal world. In this issue, we will find examples of all these: the animal as a transitional object, the role of animals in attachment theories, posthuman feminism, "extinction studies", Freud's dogs and Edit Gyömrői's cats.
