Harlem Gospel Choir
The world's best-known gospel star choir is visiting Hungary again! On November 18, 2025, the Harlem Gospel Choir, one of the brightest stars of black American gospel tradition, will enchant the Budapest audience at the László Papp Sports Arena. The famous formation comes from the heart of New York’s Harlem district to showcase the „Magic of Motown ” tour, which is truly a soul-lifting adventure through the immortal hits of Marvin Gaye, The Supremes and Stevie Wonder. The performance is made truly memorable by its amazing sound, fantastic energy and the dignity of the stage moments lived with the world stars. The Harlem Gospel Choir is not just a musical experience, but a deeply perceptible spiritual journey that penetrates the deepest emotions.

Schedule
Founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey, the Harlem Gospel Choir has been promoting the heritage of the American black gospel worldwide for more than three decades. They performed with icons like Bono, Diana Ross, Pharrell Williams, Gorillaz, or just Sam Smith, with the latter having a huge success at the 2018 Grammy Gala. Three American presidents, two popes and the UN General Assembly were already curious about their presentation.
It is a free and joyful musical holiday where the Harlem Gospel Choir not only gives a concert but also offers a true spiritual experience. Their performance is both sacred and passionate, modern but faithful to its roots.
Whoever comes is guaranteed not to sit, celebrating the gospel involves singing, dancing, and spiritual cleansing.
Starring music, this year’s tour evokes classics from the Motown era, with deep respect and unparalleled dynamism. The choir’s heart is Harlem, but their message is eternal and universal: Love. Hope. Togetherness.
Don’t miss one of the most uplifting music events of the year!
