Irreplaceable Objects / III. National Salon of Fine Arts_Led by József Baksai & Katalin Kállai

2025-09-25T16:00:00.000Z

The exhibition is the third in the series of annual National Salons organized by the Műcsarnok, showcasing the most important endeavors and works of Hungarian fine arts from the past five years, both within Hungary and beyond its borders.

The title of the exhibition is a term borrowed from the world of cryptography: it refers to a virtual object that is assigned a unique digital identifier, but the term, in its modern and ingenious way, captures something of the essence of fine art. The concept of the exhibition focuses on one word: the OBJECT as the objectified result of the personal creative process. Its presence is like that of a loyal friend: it cannot be replaced.
