Beautiful contemporary connections
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Világszép Child Protection Foundation, which is organizing a special contemporary art exhibition at the Ludwig Museum to celebrate the occasion. The exhibition, entitled "Világszép Contemporary Connections," is not only a presentation of works of art, but also a touching record of the special encounter between 24 renowned contemporary Hungarian artists and 77 Világszép children and young adults between the ages of 2 and 25 who are in or have left state care. aged between 2 and 25.
What makes this project special is that the young people first got to know the artists through their work, then dreamed up new works together during personal meetings. The artists then created new works based on the inspiration gained during these meetings. These works form the backbone of the exhibition, providing a deeper insight into the lives of the children and the power of openness and acceptance towards one another.
