SPLASH! Water Circus Swing over Water

Let's close our eyes and fly back in time a hundred years! We arrive in the 1920s, a fantastic decade! Who wouldn't want to live then? Who wouldn't want to step out of an open sports car in a stylish bowler hat and rush into a dance when swing, jazz or Charleston started playing?

The 1920s were a decade of unbridled joy, dancing, celebration of life, unforgettable antics, unrestrained imagination, and boundless creativity. It was a time when emotions were more passionate, experiences more intense, and thoughts more temperamental than ever before! The 1920s saw memorable achievements in the fields of sports and the arts, whether in the mushrooming sports clubs and increasingly professional Summer Olympics, or in film, painting, literature, and music! We evoke this legendary era in our aquatic circus show entitled SPLASH!

The destination of our journey through time could be none other than the roaring summer and the beach promising countless adventures! To this end, we are completely transforming our circus, both inside and out! The Budapest Grand Circus will be transformed into a spectacular aquatic wonderland, complete with a beach, swimming pool, water polo court, and even a rowing center.

The circus ring will be replaced by a huge pool and a spectacular fountain! The 11,000-liter pool will feature individually liftable and lowerable elements, while the fountain's 700 jets will be capable of shooting water up to 18 meters high. The lighting will make the experience even more complete: thanks to the refractive and light-absorbing properties of water, we will be treated to a truly unique visual spectacle.

The Budapest Grand Circus building will also be unrecognizable: we are converting it into a beach from 100 years ago, with sun loungers and parasols welcoming the audience in the plaza in front of the circus, and we are even opening a cocktail bar – for adults and children alike!

Let's ride the waves together this summer! SPLASH! will not only be a circus show, but also an unforgettable experience, full of joy, wonder, laughter, and the unforgettable atmosphere of the 1920s!
