Zsolnay Light Festival 2023
Between 6 and 9 July 2023, the Mediterranean city centre of Pécs will once again be bathed in light: the Zsolnay Festival of Light will be held, with an international light painting competition, the Way of Light with more than 20 attractions, and special street art and music programmes!

The country's first and only light festival, the Zsolnay Light Festival in Pécs, will once again illuminate the city centre of Pécs with dazzling light works in the summer of 2023! Buildings will be illuminated, the streets will be carpeted with light, while the monumental facade of the Cathedral will be brought to life by the best 3D projections of the international competition.
The 4-day festival will be a real experience for families and friends in the Mediterranean city centre of Pécs, with light paintings and a wide range of accompanying activities!
The Zsolnay Festival of Lights will be held for the seventh time in Pécs, between 6-9 July, and will offer a world-class light experience to the public. From the perspective of astronauts, we can view our planet, the mythical world of the forests of Mecsek will be brought to life through light painting, and music will be visually presented as a four-dimensional experience. More than 100 programmes await visitors: in the afternoons, giant dodos will run through the Mediterranean streets of Pécs, and in the evenings, the world's best light artists will compete in the Zsolnay Light Art international light painting competition.
