Szaniter – Exhibition on the reality of hygiene poverty in Hungary
The Szaniter exhibition will open its doors on October 2, at 7:00 p.m. at the KULT7 Gallery brought to life by Pompa Copia creative collective. The exhibition focuses on housing poverty, particularly the lack of hygienic conditions, which is a permanent problem affecting hundreds of thousands of people in Hungary today.
The aim of Szaniter is to make the reality of housing poverty tangible, to reflect on the problem through the medium of art, to initiate dialogue, and to encourage a wider audience to take action. At the center of the installations are associatively depicted washing spaces that evoke personal destinies. The exhibition is complemented by a series of photographs taken at real locations, forming a bridge between artistic representation and documentary authenticity.

Pompa Copia is the beginning of a creative collective, the result of the friendship between Eszter Kevés and Soma Pregun. Joined by photographer Júlia Horváth, curator Petra Páder, art manager Bálint Kalmár, and Balka creative management, they aim to draw attention to a serious problem affecting both our immediate and wider environment.
The exhibition is part of Budapest Design Week.
